Wake up and shine

ChocolateCaramelHazelnut

Wake up and shine is our signature house blend, created to be the comforting heart of your mornings. It offers a well-balanced, creamy and sweet profile with prominent notes of chocolate, rich caramel, and roasted hazelnut. As with our entire lineup of three coffees, this blend is sourced exclusively through our partnership with Ocafi—a young team dedicated to bringing 100% transparency, fairness, and sustainability to Brazilian coffee. Grown at an altitude of 900–1,100 meters, Wake up and Shine consists of naturally processed varieties (Catuaí, Catucaí, Acaiá, and Mundo Novo) achieving a high SCA score of 83-84. The core goal of this bean is simple: to deliver robust, consistent, year-round quality you can always rely on. To guarantee this stability and enhanced transparency, Wake up is crafted primarily using exceptional coffees from Ocafi’s three own family-run farms, supplemented by selected local partners who share their strict quality standards: Fazenda Pinheiro: Acquired in 2003, this farm is the heart of the operation. It combines innovative agricultural techniques with traditional cultivation and hosts the main quality lab. Pinheiro stands out for its holistic eco-footprint, integrating specialty coffee with sustainable livestock, and features an advanced biogas system. Fazenda Matão: Situated in the elevated, privileged terroir of Mococa, this farm is celebrated for its perfect coffee-growing conditions. Matão utilizes state-of-the-art sustainable technology, including a precision irrigation system that conserves water while ensuring the optimal development of sweet coffee cherries. Fazenda São Domingos: Complementing the blend, this farm uses advanced processing technology to guarantee absolute flavor consistency. Dedicated to environmental preservation, São Domingos protects the regional biodiversity and works hand-in-hand with local ecological initiatives, including the Mata Atlântica reforestation project. Sourcing: 100% transparent direct trade via Ocafi

Decaf

Chocolate & Nuts

Who says decaf can't be tasty? This medium-roasted Arabica is a natural process lot crafted to showcase the best of traditional Brazilian flavors. Expect a cup with sweetness, low acidity, and a comforting, rich profile dominated by smooth chocolate and nuts. It is the perfect, full-flavored brew for those who want all the taste of specialty coffee without the effects of caffeine. Behind this flavor is a story of regional collaboration. Born in São José do Rio Pardo, this coffee is a community blend that represents a collective of 40 local farms, working alongside neighbors and partners. Brought to Berlin through our partnership with Ocafi, this project brings a high level of transparency to the decaf market. It creates a fair, open market for small producers' high-quality lots that cannot be processed as single-variety coffees. Best of all, profits from this blend directly fund Ocafi’s social and environmental activities across these local farming communities.

Brisa

BerriesDried PlumBrown Sugar

Brisa is our ode to what Brazilian naturals do best. Grown at an altitude of 800 to 900 meters and sun-dried in the fruit, this Obatã lot develops a deep, jammy sweetness — think ripe dark cherry and dried plum, with a soft stone-fruit finish that lingers. We roast Brisa light-medium and drop it early, just past the first crack, to keep the fruit bright and the body silky. It is the most expressive coffee in our lineup: lively as a filter brew and surprisingly juicy as a modern, fruit-forward espresso. This exceptional lot comes straight from Fazenda Pinheiro, nestled in the rolling hills of Mococa, in northern São Paulo. Although the property had been growing small coffee lots for many years, it was only in 2003, when Maria Silva and Marco A. Guardabaxo took over the land, that the true potential of the place awakened. In 2007, they planted 9.5 hectares of coffee across the farm's flat plains, while eucalyptus trees embrace the surrounding hills. Since then, Marco has been using all his expertise as an agronomist to consistently renovate, expand, and care for the farm.

02 / About

Margo is a piece of Brazil in Berlin.

Where we come from, the coffee people everyday consume comes with a "100% Arabica beans" label just to cover up a doubtful origin. This little charcoal-like brew is daily made fast, with boiling water, and served with a lot of sugar to camouflage the bitterness, all poured from a big thermos that, with luck, will last the whole day. Ironically, we are also the country that exports the most coffee to the world.

The truth is, there is no right or wrong way to choose your coffee, consume food, buy your clothes, or define your habits. But for some, these conscious choices matter in the bigger picture of life. We are not talking about superfluous luxuries or rare, overpriced stuff. It can be simply about deepening the understanding of the origin and roast of what we consume every single day.

The project was just an idea, until our Berliner friends tasted it and asked to take it home. Margo was born from that (and a burnout :').

We are a Brazilian couple who personally loves artisanal products. Margo is a small local roastery focusing on the quality of Brazilian coffee.
